During 2019, 3,750,841 vehicles were manufactured in Mexico, the Volkswagen Tiguan consolidated itself as the one with the highest production volume, leaving the Chevrolet Silverado, Jeep Compass, Nissan Sentra and Chevrolet Equinox, among others behind. The Mexican automotive industry remains profitable thanks to its excellent quality.
